Seminole County is Florida’s natural choice for a reason! Come experience natural Florida on one of our guided hikes. Our knowledgeable guides will lead you through a variety of beautiful ecosystems and highlight the special habitats and the plants and creatures who live there. If you’re lucky, you might even get to meet a few of them! Get outdoors and experience all that Seminole County has to offer. Make sure to bring water, bug repellant and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes.

Cost: $5 per person. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for all hikes. Children must be at least 7 years of age and accompanied by an adult (unless otherwise noted).
For help with registration please call 407-665-2211 or one of the active parks (Red Bug Lake Park 407-665-2190, Sanlando Park, Sylvan Lake Park and Sports Complex).

Star Gazing - 180612

Join Natural Lands and the Director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium at Seminole State College, Derek Demeter, for an evening exploring the wonders of the night sky. Peer through large telescopes as you tour many of the cosmos' best celestial objects. Beach chairs and/or picnic blankets are recommended. Ages 9+. Each person attending MUST be registered. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to an indoor virtual astronomy program at the Ed and Imogene Yarborough Nature Center in Geneva.
